“Pearl” features a jellyfish straight out of my imagination. Her form came to me while I was sketching under the shade of a mangrove tree after days of snorkeling and exploring Jamaica’s coral reefs.
I love how she seems suspended in motion, vibrant yet calming and reflective…exactly how these incredible creatures made me feel while I was observing them underwater.
