This vintage frame inspired the painting. I'd never seen anything like it and immediately fell in love with its unique shape and crescent detailing. It's old, with a few nicks here and there, but that's what makes it special. I spent months looking at this frame before the painting came to me.
This piece is inspired by a truly magical place called Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. I imagined it in perfect silence, not a soul in sight but the crescent moon sending her glow over the red rocks. I hope you love it.
