“Beyond the Edge of Time” is a painting that bridges reality with fantasy. There is an area off of Independence Pass that I have grown very fond of. Like many still wild lands, it feels wonderfully magical and quite momentous. It is so real and solid when I am there, but the stone and earth shift to memories and the memories blur into something else: a place that lives only in my mind. That is where this painting begins and my love for this land lives on.
