Aspens in the fall are truly a wonder to behold! I love everything about them - their fluttering golden leaves, the contrast of pale bark against dark scars, the way they are all one. As an artist, I cannot help but wonder at their form. There’s so much texture and color hidden in their bark, and the sun makes them almost glow.
This painting came from a place in my dream world where the aspens dance in delight at the coming of an early fall snow. I hope you love it."
